SKI TRIPS 2017

SKI TRIPS OVERVIEW
DAY TRIPS
The Youngstown Ski Club typically begins running trips the first weekend in January and through the month of March. However, trips can be organized in December, or continue in early April, depending upon weather, resort conditions, and interest. In every organized Ski Trip, our enthusiastic and professional Trip Managers consider value, quality, reputation, and member recomendations in booking transportation, lodging, and ski resorts. Because the Club is able to book for several people at a time, we are able to receive "group" rates, which are lower than regualr pricing, and we pass that along to participants. Additionally, sometimes when available through fundrasing efforts, we apply earned subsidies to trip costs, thus reducing the financial burden on member participants, often beyond the group rates we receive.

Understand too, that certain restrictions and business agreements are in place with our transportation providers, lodging, and ski resorts, and specific payments may be required in advance in order to book. Moreover, there is often a deadline for payments due. Trip Flyers contain all the relevant information pertaining to deposit amounts, payment schedules, and contact information of Trip Manager(s).

Regardless, travelling with the Youngstown Ski Club provides its guests with group pricing, friendship, fun, and no-hassle booking. We eliminate the headache of organizing, planning, tracking, and collecting monies, as all you do here is pay, pack, and join us for an upcoming adventure!

We organize Day Trips, Weekend Trips, and Multi-Day Trips! Non-Members can join trips as well, but at less of a discount than paid Members. Yes, even non-members can take a slight advantage of our group rates, versus showing up at a resort and paying full price at the ticket window!

Additionally, we belong to two umbrella organizations, The Cleveland Metro Ski Council (CMSC), and The Western Pennsylvania Ski Council (WPSC), which run Western and European Ski Trips to numerous parts of the world! These Councils work with and offer a combined 39 affiliate Ski Clubs the opportunity for additional trips. Your membership in the Youngstown Ski Club provides you with the incredible options available in each council...
